WorkOuts are based on a simple principle: The people who do the work know what’s not working. In a WorkOut, we gather these people together to identify:
- Sub-optimal processes
- Inefficient cross-departmental coordination
- Unclear decision-making metrics, criteria, rules and roles
We then collaborate with these staff members and management to eliminate these blockers to success. The approach ultimately helps establish cross-functional process thinking as a way of doing business and solving problems.
